Levendale

Primary School

Being the best we can be

Welcome

Welcome to Levendale Primary School. We are a one-form entry primary school, with a 26-place nursery, in Yarm.

Yarm is located in the Tees Valley, in the south of Stockton-on-Tees.

At Levendale, we take pride in knowing our children and their families well and enjoy working with parents and carers.

We work closely with our governors and trustees, and are part of The 1590 Trust. We collaborate regularly with the other schools in the Trust on curriculum enhancements and wider opportunities. We also work closely with Conyers Secondary School, which is our main feeder school.

Our whole school vision is underpinned by “Being the best we can be” and we aim for every child to succeed both academically and personally. We have high expectations and aspirations for our children.

Our curriculum is designed to progressively develop knowledge, skills and vocabulary from Early Years to Year 6 and we focus on the curriculum goals: healthy and safe; positive mind-set; respect; Independence; pupil voice; and aspirations. We aim to make learning memorable, fun and exciting!

We are a Unicef Rights Respecting School, which means children learn about the rights of all children, encouraging children to play an active part in school life, whilst preparing them to be global citizens of the future.

We promote being ‘Healthy and Safe’ through a wide variety of opportunities including in Science and PE. We have the Platinum Award for our dedication to sports.

All member of our school community are values and we take pride in being an inclusive school.

We do have some spaces available in most year groups. If you would like to find out more, please contact our school office on 01642 783684.
