Wraparound Provision
Wraparound provision – Before and after school Clubs
We provide School-led Wrap around Care for children from Nursery to Year 6, who attend Levendale Primary School.
Breakfast club is called ‘Early Bird Club’ and After-school club is ‘Stay and Play.’
Mrs Lewis (as Head Teacher) and Mrs Henderson (as Deputy Head) have the overall responsibility for the clubs. Mrs Allan, Mrs Monaghan, Mrs Donnelly, Miss Keegan and Mrs Isherwood our teaching assistants, run the clubs and are all known to the children.
We hope the clubs are relaxing and fun for the children, where they can spend time socialising with others. We provide a variety of activities for the children to do such as: art; crafts; baking; sports; games; reading; competitions; construction; toys and outdoor time! We also develop the children’s interests and ensure variety in sessions.
Drop off and pick up is from the main entrance of school.
Early Bird
Early Bird opens at 7.45am until the start of the school day. It costs £5.00 per child, including breakfast.
Stay and Play
There are three different time options for Stay and Play club, all of which include a light meal/snack:
- Option 1: 3.15-4.30pm – £5 per child
- Option 2: 3.15-6.00pm – £10 per child
- Option 3: 4.30-6.00pm – £5 per child (for those attending one of our after-school clubs first – e.g. DF coaching, multi-sports)
As a school, we adhere to school food standards to help ensure children develop healthy eating habits and have the energy and nutrition needed to get the most from their day. This includes: a range of healthy cereals; fruit and vegetables; toast; sandwiches with a variety of fillings; raisins; and fruit breads, etc. We will only have a small amount of food and drink available that is high in fat or sugar. We are happy to share meal plans and discuss them with parents. Allergies will also be catered for.
Places must be pre-paid and pre-booked on Arbor. This can be regularly or on an ad-hoc basis
Can I use Child Care Vouchers?
Yes, you can use childcare vouchers / salary sacrifice schemes towards the costs of provision, please contact the school office in the first instance to set this up.
What are the Terms and Conditions?
To comply with ratio of adults to children, we ask that all children are pre-booked on in advance.
Our costs have been determined to ensure the viability to host the clubs, as there will be three members of staff. Failure to make payments for clubs will result in refusal of entry.
For children attending Stay and Play: Option 1 from 3.15pm – 4.30pm – Children must be collected promptly at 4.30pm at the latest, or a £5 late fee will occur.
For children attending Stay and Play: Option 2 or 3 until 6.00pm, children must be collected at 6pm at the latest, or a £5 late fee will occur.
Keeping children safe

All children must be pre-registered and signed in and out, at the start and end of every club by a staff member.
Parents will be required to notify us about who may collect their child and give us a password to hold on file should this change at any time. Please ensure we hold up to date information such as contacts and medical information as part of our school records. Any necessary medical information will be shared with and available to staff.
